Clinical Nurse Specialist - Older Adults

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in fast paced and busy environment, forging excellent working relationships with other health professionals within the hospital and beyond.

A flexible 'can do' attitude, with a willingness to build links with acute hospital colleagues is essential to ensure that a proactive interface is created between mental health and acute services.

From working alongside colleagues in the A&E department, to in-reaching to the wards, supporting substance misuse colleagues and liaising with other mental health professionals, you will work across the JPUH supporting individuals presenting to the acute hospital with mental health issues.

We're looking for an individual who wants to grow and develop their knowledge and skills by working closely with colleagues, sharing experience and knowledge to continually learn from each other.

Ideally you'll be a Non-Medical Prescriber with experience, particularly in areas of older adult's mental health, acute mental health and risk management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like a new challenge with variety where no two days will be the same.

Individual competence and suitability will be explored within interview. It is vital that the successful candidate demonstrates values and behaviours reflective of those of our Trust and this is a focus of the interview process.
