Clinical Nurse

Reporting into the Clinical Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Assess, plan, and implement nursing care.

Provide therapeutic interventions to help young people manage their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Collaborate with the team to contribute to the development of individual care plans.

Support the recovery and well-being of young people, helping them achieve their maximum potential.

Coordinate nursing activities across shifts to ensure smooth operations on the unit.

Qualifications

Essential: - Registered Mental Health/LD Nurse or awaiting registration

Desirable: - Degree in relevant subject

Experience

Essential: - Multi-disciplinary working

Desirable: - CAMHS experience/placement

Knowledge and Skills

Essential: - Legal frameworks relevant to mental health care; - Risk assessment and management; - Nursing processes

Desirable: - Current CAMHS practice issues; - Clinical Governance; - Health & Safety
