We are looking for a confident Clinical Neuropsychologist with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 24 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Woodrow House.

As a Clinical Neuropsychologist you will be responsible for the vision, planning and service development of the psychology service ensuring the systematic provision of a high quality specialist Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology service to service users at Cygnet Woodrowe House.

Your Day-to-Day...

  • Working closely with the wider Neuropsychiatric MDT staff at Cygnet Woodrowe House to provide innovative psychological thinking, perspective taking and clinical decision making.
  • Completing and delivering complex psychological and neuropsychological assessments, formulations and intervention plans, carry their own caseload, co-ordinate joint MDT assessment and co-working where appropriate.
  • Teaching and supporting care staff and contribute to their Continued Professional Development.
  • Leading on the service in collecting and evaluating of outcome measures.
  • Working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.
  • Developing audit, outcome measurement a nd analysis of key performance indicators for the Neuropsychology service at Cygnet Woodrowe House. To regularly and actively manage performance against targets for Neuropsychology.
  • Ensuring systems are in place for the clinical supervision and support for Assistant Psychologists working into the neuropsychology service and reflective practice for all staff as appropriate.
  • As a HCPC Registered Psychologist, you will have a pivotal role in the training and clinical supervision of Assistant Psychologists and the APDP programme provided by Cygnet.

We are looking for someone who is...

  • A HCPC registered Clinical/Neuro Psychologist
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in the delivery of trauma informed care
  • Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
  • Capable of working with difficulties such as physical & verbal aggression, history of offending, drug and alcohol problems and self-harm
  • The person must have up to date knowledge around various different psychological models applicable to this clinical population, and various models of team working for neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioural rehabilitation.
