The Clinical Quality & Governance Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for clinical governance, quality improvement, audit, and regulatory compliance across Lakeside Healthcare. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, the post holder will champion the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care through robust governance frameworks and continuous improvement. Lakeside Healthcare is a large GP partnership providing NHS care to around 170,000 patients across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire. We comprise eight GP practices across 14 sites, working together to share learning, build resilience, and provide professional support services.

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Quality & Governance Manager to lead governance, quality improvement, and compliance programmes across our sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work with senior leaders and frontline teams to ensure we continue delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Based in Corby, you'll work closely with the Executive Team and colleagues across the organisation to strengthen our quality and governance framework while supporting a culture of learning and improvement.

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in healthcare, clinical governance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Evidence of continued professional development in quality improvement, patient safety, or clinical governance
Desirable
- Masters degree in healthcare management, public health, or quality improvement.
- Formal training or certification in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA).
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC, GMC, or equivalent).
Experience
Essential
- Substantial experience in a senior management role within Primary Care.
- Demonstrable experience in clinical governance, patient safety, or quality improvement roles within Primary Care.
- Experience leading audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory readiness activities.
- Proven track record of supporting or leading CQC inspections and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Experience of incident management, including investigation, reporting, and implementing learning.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and supporting change in clinical practice.
Desirable
- Experience delivering governance or quality training to healthcare professionals.
- Engagement with patient forums, Healthwatch, or similar external stakeholders.
