Clinical Fellow in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

The post holder is expected to have broad experience of general gastroenterology disorders including independent gastroscopy and ideally diagnostic colonic. The applicant should demonstrate an clear interest in IBD. The post holder will deliver both specialist IBD and general gastroenterology clinics, relevant diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures The postholder will be expected to attend the weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, departmental clinical governance meetings, journal club and teaching. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the audit.

The main duties of this post include

Develop expertise inflammatory bowel disease

Join and contribute to complex case MDT

Provide general gastroenterology clinical service

Participate in audit, clinical governance, service improvement and research

Operate within the clinical governance and audit framework within the division

Option to join out of hours endoscopy on-call rota
