Clinic Manager - St Helens Dialysis Unit

The post holder will have management responsibility for the dialysis unit at St Helens over the 24hr period, ensuring a high standard of nursing care.

Key responsibilities will include the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, effective leadership and staff management/development

The post holder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

Essential: - Registered Nurse, current NMC registration; - Teaching and assessing qualification; - Post registration qualification in specialty

Desirable: - 1st level degree or studying towards

Experience

Desirable: - Evidence of developing standards of nursing care through clinical benchmarking; - Evidence of staff development, including pre and post registration students

Essential: - High level of personal and professional credibility; - Supportive of colleagues; - Committed to delivering high standards of patient care

Knowledge

Essential: - Understanding and application of clinical governance; - Excellent communication skills; - Basic IT skills, including email and word processing
