The post holder will independently manage a varied caseload, delivering evidence-based interventions to support children and young people in achieving their functional goals and maximising participation in everyday activities. They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with families, schools, GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, child-centred care.
The post holder will be supported by a Band 7 but will be responsible for managing their own caseload and prioritising tasks effectively. Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills are essential, together with a commitment to delivering compassionate and effective care for children and young people. The role may involve working across multiple sites e.g. Pitsea, Basildon and Thurrock.
