We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home. This role is pivotal in providing outstanding care and making a significant impact on the lives of children and young people.
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards.
- Promote excellent outcomes for children and young people through effective care planning and safeguarding practices.
- Develop and maintain a positive, nurturing culture within the home.
- Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and partner agencies.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.
- Maintain accurate records and implement quality assurance systems.
- Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement and service development initiatives.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
- Extensive experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or in a similar role within children's residential care.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks.
- Proven leadership and staff management skills.
- Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
