What Youll Be Doing

  • Perform and independently report adult transthoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting protocols
  • Offer expert guidance through our second opinion rota and support high clinical standards during peer-review processes
  • Maintain and monitor equipment through routine quality assurance checks
  • Archive study images and submit accurate reports in line with local SOPs and contractual obligations
  • Coordinate with hospital departments and GP practices for urgent referrals
  • Assist with patient bookings and ensure accurate maintenance of patient information systems

  • Proven experience performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards
  • Hold BSE accreditation (or equivalent qualification)
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Confident in applying data protection, Caldicott principles, and IG standards
