Centre Manager - Diagnostic Imaging

As an HIW Registered Manager, you will lead, manage and develop a team of Radiographers, Clinical Assistants and Administrators, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused service.

You will ensure the service is compliant with relevant legislation, HIW requirements and Alliance Medical policies and procedures, while working closely with key stakeholders across the CDC. You will also manage the centre's budget, performance targets, risk and clinical governance.

We are looking for an experienced healthcare leader with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering excellent patient care. Clinical experience within a diagnostic setting would be advantageous.

Essential: Senior management experience within healthcare or social care Knowledge of the Independent Health Care (Wales) Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards Experience of statutory inspections and regulatory requirements Strong financial literacy, budget management, risk management and clinical audit skills Awareness of IR(ME)R, radiation, Health & Safety, data protection and patient confidentiality requirements IT literate and able to meet HIW "Fit Person" requirements

Desirable: Previous HIW or CQC Registered Manager experience Knowledge of Welsh healthcare systems and patient pathways Experience leading a large diagnostic facility Welsh language skills or a commitment to learning

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Centre Manager to lead our team at the brand new Community Diagnostic Hub based at Llantrisant Health Park.

As the HIW registered manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Radiographers, Clinical Assistant and Administrators to ensure the delivery of a quality service and the highest quality of patient care. You will ensure that the service is fully compliant with all relevant legislation and all Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures.

We are looking for a strong manager to manage the opening and continued development of the site. You will be responsible for the operational running of the unit and the clinical excellence, supported by a high performing clinical lead and support team. We welcome applicants from both a clinical and operational background. It's essential that you have a strong working knowledge of the HIW's regulations.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who have experience in managing a team in a clinical setting, ideally with first hand clinical experience. You should have knowledge and experience of managing a business budget and experience in developing customer relationships.

You should have experience in delivering an optimum patient focused service and accustomed to working in collaboration with multiple internal and external customers in an efficient and productive way.

Regulatory Fitness

Ability to pass HIW's "Fit Person" assessment (including enhanced DBS check, occupational health clearance and references).

Proven experience handling statutory inspections and regulatory requirements in Wales or the UK

Experience of senior management role, leading a team and business unit within a Healthcare or social care environment
