Basic food preparation/ packing and cleaning duties within a chilled environment.
Manual handling duties to include excepting and putting deliveries away, collecting items to prep & pack within a walk in freezer, chilled environment
Candidate will be expected to work within a chilled and freezer environment
Regeneration of patients food in a ward environment

Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- An ability to communicate well with others such as other colleagues, clinical staff, or patients
- Able to work well as part of a team but also to work unsupervised
- Ability to adhere to standards and procedures and to accept and prioritise instructions
- Must be able to meet the mobility requirements of the post
Desirable
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety (but training will be given as part of your role)
Experience
Essential
- Any previous service industry experience (D) (but we will train you fully if you don't have any experience)
Desirable
- Previous experience of stock control
Qualifications
Essential
- You don't need any formal qualifications for this job, but a certificate in hygiene is desirable. You will be trained in food hygiene and health and safety as part of the role.
