Job Description As a Support Worker, you will bring compassion, motivation, and reliability to our dedicated care team. In this rewarding and impactful role, you will play a vital part in delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, empowering them to lead independent, fulfilling lives. This role involves supporting Service Users with daily living tasks and accompanying them to planned activities, appointments, and social outings; all with the aim of promoting independence, dignity, and choice. Key Responsibilities As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Supporting Service Users with everyday tasks:Domestic chores (e.g. cleaning, laundry)Meal preparationPersonal care Budgeting and money managementEngaging with the local community and accessing amenitiesFollowing and implementing personalised support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and aspirationsDelivering high-quality, person-centred careWork collaboratively with families, in-house teams, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each Service UserMaintaining accurate and detailed records, including:Daily notesMedication administration records Risk assessmentsIncident and accident reports
Essential
A compassionate, empathetic, and respectful approach to careStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidaysWillingness to learn and undertake full training Desirable
Full UK Driving Licence
