As Deputy Nurse Manager of a Barchester care home, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the high-quality care for which Barchester is renowned. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and stepping into leadership responsibilities during their absence, you will oversee various aspects of care delivery, including maintaining care standards and motivating your team. Your leadership will ensure that the multidisciplinary team provides residents with the best quality of life, achieved through leading by example and regular monitoring through audits, clinical practice supervision, and verification of regulatory compliance. Setting the highest standards, you will devise and implement strategies to meet your goals. To qualify as a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will need relevant experience in assisting residents with varied health needs, along with a strong background in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Knowledge of HR, sales and marketing, and budget management is also essential, paired with compassion, resilience, and a determination to deliver exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
