Care Assistant - Care Home

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, your primary responsibility will be to help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they need. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and sharing moments and memories with residents. Working as a Care Assistant is varied and rewarding, requiring you to perform tasks from supporting residents with food and drink to following individual care plans and ensuring one-on-one time with residents. The role is scheduled as a full-time position with 36 hours per week, and applicants should note that the organization is not accepting part-time applications for 20-hour weeks or sponsorship requests. Shift patterns are set from 8 AM to 8 PM. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in caring for older individuals, possess strong empathy, communication skills, and a can-do attitude.
