The Business Administrator role at Elysium Healthcare in Daventry is a temporary position offering a salary of £25,564.50. The primary responsibilities include supporting administrative needs, completing audits, maintaining an organised office environment, and ensuring confidentiality. As an administrator, you will act as a link between various departments and manage diary entries, room bookings, and transport bookings. You will support the service's administration needs, including completing audits.

As an administrator, being organised and keeping the general office function running smoothly will be second nature; files will be in the right place and kept confidential, post will be cascaded, phones will be answered in a friendly and helpful way, and spreadsheets will be up to date and logical.

Working alongside senior staff members, you will be assisting with and completing audits for the sites overall quality compliance.

As an Administrator you will

  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of effective means of systems within the unit, and between units and groups.
  • Acting as a link between the public, outside professionals and other hospital departments and wards in respect of routine telephone calls and general enquiries.
  • Making diary entries, room bookings and transport bookings as required.
  • Maintaining, evaluating, and updating the units filing and record keeping systems.
  • Completing audits
  • Providing clerical/typing duties as required, ensuring confidentiality of all clinical/administrative records.
  • Maintaining as confidential, at all times, information regarding patients, staff and hospital business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role and/or environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology
  • Previous experience of typing up medical reports and patient discharge letters
  • GCSE English, C or above.

Where you will be working: Badby Road West, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 4NH

Location: You will be working alongside the clinical teams at Badby Park to care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, where you will deliver person-centred care where each individual is at the heart of everything you do.

This specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service which boasts extensive facilities that cater for specific needs of the residents that is set in acres of stunning countryside on the outskirts of Daventry.

Badby Park is a grand manor house steeped in history with stunning views, excellent facilities and a tranquil setting. Good road links makes it easily commutable from Daventry, Rugby, Northampton and Banbury.
