Your duties will include working closely with the Ward Clinical Nurse Manager and liaising with both internal staff and external agencies. You will have a good standard of general education and be proficient in the use of Microsoft software. You will need to be organised and have excellent communication skills. The ability to work using your own initiative as well as being a team player is essential, so too are excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualificstions

Essential

  • Good standard of general education to at least GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software
  • Ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.

Desirable

  • Shorthand / speedwriting

Experience

Essential

  • Administrative experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Minute taking

Desirable

  • Experience in dealing with mentally ill patients
  • Previous experience within an NHS or Secure setting

Knowledge/skills

Essential

  • Basic knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR
  • Basic knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act
  • Effective Time Management techniques

Desirable

  • Understanding of mental health issues
