Bank Specialist Nurse - ITU | Spire Nottingham | Tollerton | Bank | Ad-Hoc Shifts
Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking an experienced ITU/Critical Care Nurse to join its bank team, providing flexible support on an ad-hoc basis.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a skilled critical care environment, delivering high-quality care to elective surgical patients while maintaining flexibility around shifts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a critical care setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for complex patient caseloads.
- Use specialist clinical equipment and monitoring technology.
- Promote best practice and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Support colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development.
Who we're looking for
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with recent critical care/ITU experience.
- Post-registration Critical Care qualification.
- Demonstrated critical care competencies.
- Current ALS, PILS, or ILS certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and accountable practice.
