Bank Public Health Dietetic Assistant Practitioner

The bank worker will develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nutrition and dietetic education training packages and food initiatives for a range of community-based partners, under the guidance of Specialist Public Health Dietitians.

The bank worker will work relatively independently, working to an agreed framework with a degree of autonomy and will be responsible and accountable for these tasks. This will involve having their own caseload of clients and working with a range of organisations in a complex community environment.

The purpose of this role is to support the Public Health Dietetic assessment of needs, monitoring and quality assurance of initiatives and training delivered, as well as the evaluation of outcomes and sustainability of services. It will aim to develop community assets to facilitate improved public health nutrition status in the local population.
