Bank Painter & Decorator

This temporary role as a Bank Painter & Decorator at Elysium Healthcare offers an opportunity to be involved in creating a well-presented and safe environment at Thornford Park in Thatcham. The job involves leading decorating tasks, proper preparation of surfaces for painting, applying paint, varnish, and other finishes, and maintaining high standards of painted surfaces. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean work area and following health and safety guidelines. Experience in painting and decorating, dealing face-to-face with people, and the ability to work under pressure are required, along with a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Thornford Park is a 141 bed hospital set within 21 acres of Berkshire countryside, offering a seamless care pathway across medium and low secure services, psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs), and rehabilitation flats. The site supports men and women with complex Mental Health needs, Personality Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Autism—often with histories of offending or previous placement challenges.
