Bank Healthcare Assistant (Ward)

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to patients with a range of health needs, supporting both their clinical care and independence. Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll carry out a variety of duties, including personal care, basic observations, nutrition and hydration support, venepuncture, ECGs, simple wound care, catheter and stoma care, bladder scanning and specimen management.

You will accurately record care provided, contribute to risk assessments and support patients with complex physical health needs, frailty and dementia using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills are essential, as you'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and dignified care.
