We are seeking a permanent Band 7 Highly Specialist Childrens Occupational Therapist to join our Community Childrens Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. As a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in leading service provision across universal, targeted and specialist levels, working collaboratively alongside fellow Band 7 Occupational Therapists. You will contribute to the supervision and development of colleagues, support service improvement initiatives, and work closely with a dedicated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants.

You will be part of a diverse and supportive multidisciplinary team, benefiting from regular supervision, team meetings, and the encouragement of friendly, inclusive colleagues who are committed to delivering highquality, childcentred care.

You will manage a mixed, complex caseload of children and young people aged 019 years, delivering specialist occupational therapy interventions across a broad range of clinical need. You will work across a variety of settings, including schools, community clinics and hubs, family homes, and special schools, providing a highquality, childcentred service that aligns with evidencebased best practice.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and a minimum of two years paediatric experience, working with children and young people who present with a range of conditions. You will be innovative, adaptable and highly motivated, with a genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people within the local community.

With excellent communication and organisational skills, and a flexible, solutionfocused approach, you will consistently deliver positive, highquality experiences for children, young people and their families at every stage of the healthcare journey.

As this is a communitybased role, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes.
