Job description
The Role Vivid Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join an NHS Operating Department team on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ODP with a strong background in elective orthopaedics, looking for a new assignment from September 2026. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary theatre team, providing high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative pathway and supporting the safe and effective delivery of surgical procedures. Current HCPC registration as an Operating Department PractitionerRecent experience working within elective orthopaedicsStrong perioperative clinical skills and knowledgeAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary theatre teamExcellent communication and patient-care skillsAbility to work safely and confidently in a busy operating departmentAnaesthetic experience is desirable Why Apply?
