Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
- Co-ordinate, prioritises, facilitate and monitor the delivery of care for patients on a designated caseload and to other patients as deemed appropriate.
- Function asa professional and clinical role model to all staff, patients, carers, and the public always.
- Supervise the performance standards of own team members where appropriate.
- Maximise use of clinical and staff resources, implementing best practice in patient pathways, admission, and discharge arrangements.
- Plan and promote the development of new services within the designated area.
- Maintain efficient and effective communication on issues related to patient care, caseload, and organisation management.
- Participate in staff recruitment and selection processes and wider recruitment and retention strategies.
- Act in a professional manner and ensure self and colleagues always adhere to the LPT Uniform Policy.
