We are looking for a Band 6 Childrens Occupational Therapist to join our Community Childrens Therapy Team in Essex and be part of a supportive and progressive organization committed to the highest clinical and quality standards, with most services rated as good or outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Key responsibilities include independently managing, prioritizing caseloads, assessing children with performance difficulties, recommending specialist equipment for home/school use, supporting service objectives, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, governance protocols, writing assessment reports, developing treatment plans, and delivering treatment to ensure effective outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and a minimum of two years post-graduate practice in paediatrics, with experience working with children and young people in the community. They should also possess strong knowledge of typical and atypical child development, experience in delivering Childrens Occupational Therapy assessments, interventions, the ability to create SMART treatment plans, and have a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Qualifications
Essential
- A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration, A minimum of two years post-graduate practice in paediatrics, experience working with children and young people in the community, postgraduate training or relevant experience in areas such as child development, autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
