Band 5 Specialist School Nurse - Leatherhead

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Nurse to oversee the healthcare provision for children and young people aged 219 with severe, profound, and multiple learning and physical difficulties. In this rewarding role, you will offer expert training, guidance, and support to school staff, parents, and carersensuring the best possible care for every child. You will be part of a team supporting the senior school nurse and assistant practitioner within your team, helping to create a collaborative, nurturing environment where everyone can thrive. This role is based at Woodlands School in Leatherhead and is Term-Time only. Main Responsibilities include delivering safe, high-quality, child-centred nursing care, including medication oversight, tracheostomy and PEG care, and emergency response. Assess and make informed clinical decisions, and contribute to safeguarding and multi-agency work. Communicate effectively, develop care plans, provide training, and support service improvement through audit and evaluation.
