As an Autism Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with autism and complex needs. You'll work in a structured, supportive classroom setting, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groupsDelivering engaging, personalised activitiesEncouraging independence, confidence, and life skillsHelping to maintain a calm and positive learning environment Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:
Has experience with (or a strong understanding of) ASD and complex needsIs patient, empathetic, and approachableFeels confident working both one-to-one and within a classroomBuilds strong relationships with students and colleaguesIs passionate about supporting children with SEN Experience is helpful but not essential - attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Experience as an Autism Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or similar role (preferred)A genuine interest in supporting children with autism and SENA valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Reeson Education: Reeson Education is England's Premier Recruitment Agency.
