- Support and enhance the clinical and psychological care of clients within the Early intervention service, across all sectors of care; providing initial assessments, psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist and other AHPs, and working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and the team manager within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Play a key role in clinically-related administration, conduct of audits and service evaluations, collection and reporting of team outcome measures.
- Development of clinical research projects, teaching and project work as appropriate.

Qualifications
Essential
- An upper second class honours degree or higher in psychology
Desirable
- Further post graduate training in relevant area
Experience
Essential
- Paid work with people with complex mental health problems and/or other disabilities
Desirable
- Paid work with people experiencing psychosis
- Experience of working with families
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- High level communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to communicate and work in settings in which the atmosphere may be highly emotive
- Experience using software for databases
- Understanding of the needs and difficulties of young people with mental health problems
Desirable
- High standard of report writing
- Skills in statistical analyses
Personal
Essential
- Interest in working with psychosis
- Able to interact with other disciplines
- Able to work independently and use supervision
- Able to travel across the county
Desirable
- Interest in audit/service improvement/research
