We are a busy level three neonatal unit with close links with the other UCLH specialist hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Currently we care for 21 intensive / high dependency care babies including neurological cots for infant cooling, cardiology, complex deliveries - including EXIT procedures. The Unit also has 12 Special care cots and 12 transitional care beds.

Qualifications: :

Essential

  • Registered Nurse Part 1,12.
  • A19 Course or equivalent.
  • ENB 998 or equivalent.
  • Educated to Masters Level. LEO course.
  • NLS course.
  • Non-medical prescribing course

Desirable: - RSCN or RM. ENB 405 or equivalent.

Experience

Essential: - Able to organise own work load

  • Practicing at an advanced level
  • Skills in critical analysis and application of research to practice
  • Proven competencies in clinical skills
  • Ability to recognise and analyse complex situations and take appropriate actions
