As part of yourrole you will liaise with other colleagues in the team to contribute to the smooth running of the department.
You will need to be well organised and able to deal with the public efficiently and politely. Previous typing/word processing skills are desirable for this post although not essential.
Arranging appointments and visits with parents/carers/schools over the telephone or by letter.
As a key aspect of this role you willneed to be able to use the Patient Centre information system in accordance with Trust procedures in a timely way to assist in co-ordination of care pathways (training will be given).
As the successful candidate you will be required to work to a very high standard.

- Maths GCSE Grade A to C or equivalent

- Administration apprenticeship

- Previous clerical experience
- Previous experience of working in an office environment
- Accurate administration and appointment booking skills
Desirable
- Previous NHS experience Knowledge of Information Technology
- Knowledge of Medical Records Library
- Good understanding of Patient Centre
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- RSA II word processing or equivalent
Skills, abilities, and knowledge

- Ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people including medical staff and patients.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.

- Administration and appointment booking experience.
