  • Provide operational leadership and coordination of administrative services across CYPIMHS, Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment, Eating Disorder, Inpatient and Day Services.
  • Line manage, supervise and develop administrative staff, including appraisal, performance management and training.
  • Lead a high-performing team, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate administrative resources to maintain service cover and continuity.
  • Support implementation of new services, pathways and organisational change.
  • Work with operational and clinical leaders to support service delivery, quality standards and performance targets.
  • Monitor data quality within electronic patient record systems and ensure compliance with Trust and national requirements.
  • Produce and analyse activity and performance reports to support decision making.
  • Review and improve administrative systems and processes to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
  • Coordinate recruitment, induction and training activities.
  • Oversee key administrative functions including referrals, discharge communications and meeting support.
  • Represent administrative services at meetings, forums and Trust-wide groups.
  • Support estates, facilities, health and safety and business continuity requirements.
  • Manage operational issues, competing priorities and risk escalation as required.

Qualifications and knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices.
  • 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
  • 'A' Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning

Desirable

  • Literacy and numeracy level 2

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems e.g. ESR, NPfIT

Desirable

  • Maintaining the quality and integrity of data in Trust IT systems

Skills and Competencies

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate inter-personal communication skills
  • Able to plan and prioritise effectively
  • Good telephone manner

Desirable

  • Supervision Skills
