Location: Southport
Salary: £15.31 per hour, depending on day or night shifts
Hours: 22, 33 or 44 hours per week, depending on preference
Shift Pattern: Day and Night contracts available
Shifts: 8:00am–8:00pm or 8:00pm–8:00am

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate and reliable Care Practitioners to join a care team in Malton.
As a Care Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs while ensuring their comfort, dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will provide high-quality personal care, support residents with meals and activities, and help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.

- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
- Support residents with meals and hydration.
- Encourage independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
- Support residents with social activities and daily routines.
- Respond promptly and sensitively to call bells and residents' needs.
- Observe residents' health and wellbeing and report any changes or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and handover notes.
- Follow individual care plans and ensure residents receive appropriate support.
- Uphold infection control, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
- Help create a positive, stimulating and supportive environment through conversation and activities.
- Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential.
- A caring, patient, empathetic and compassionate approach.
- Strong observational skills and good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ability to maintain residents' dignity, privacy and independence.
- Flexible approach to working 12-hour shifts.
- Availability to work alternate weekends as part of a rota.
- Willingness to work day or night shifts, depending on the contract available.
A range of contracted hours is available
- 22 hours per week
- 33 hours per week
- 44 hours per week
Pay: £15.31 per hour, depending on day or night shifts
Shift times
- Day: 8:00am–8:00pm
- Night: 8:00pm–8:00am
