We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team on Savernake Ward in Marlborough as a Band 6 Charge Nurse/Sister. The service is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation, making this an excellent time to become part of a dynamic and innovative team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role within the clinical team, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan and deliver patient care, while supporting safe and effective discharge. We care for both step-up and step-down patients, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and enabling individuals to return home safely. This is a nurse-led unit where you will work alongside forward-thinking, compassionate colleagues who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and making a real difference to people in the local community. The role involves working a mixture of shifts, including days, nights and weekends. If you are interested, please come for an informal visit to meet our team. Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered nurse, Clinical assessment skills, IV therapy competency, Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, Experienced in the use of NEWS2 diagnostic tool and when to escalate, Contribute to the development of others, supervising and teaching, mentoring, including student Nurses, Previous experience in elderly care, frailty, community services or relevant acute care speciality, Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, Ability to adapt to the demands of a constantly changing environment, Good IT skills, Work within the NMC code of conduct.
