Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Band 5

Staff Nurse (RMN/RNMH/RNLD) - Band 5 We are seeking a dedicated and professional Staff Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will act as a Primary or Named Nurse, delivering high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care. You will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans, ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based nursing are maintained to support the health and wellbeing of our service users. Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care with an emphasis on empathy, kindness, respect, and dignity.Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, families, and carers to promote shared decision-making.Safely administer medication in strict adherence to Trust policies and practice guidelines.Facilitate and chair multi-disciplinary reviews and ward meetings to ensure effective communication.Maintain robust, high-standard clinical records and report on patient progress accurately.Contribute to the education and professional development of colleagues and students within the clinical environment.Ensure the ward environment remains safe, clean, and compliant with all health and safety standards. Qualifications:

Possession of a professional nursing qualification (RMN/RNMH/RNLD).Demonstrable commitment to continued professional development.Previous experience working within in-patient settings is essential.Comprehensive understanding of mental health legislation and its practical application.Proven ability to manage clinical risks and act in accordance with legislative policies.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and provide emotional support in challenging environments. Location: Carlisle, CumbriaContract Type: TemporaryWorking Hours: Long Days (08:00 - 20:00) 4 on 4 off rolling rota.Pay rate: £21.00 - £35.00 per hour depending on shift pattern.
