Registered Mental Health Nurse

Your main duties could include: Assessing and planning nursing

care requirements Building relationships with, reassuring,

and listening to and talking to patients Combating stigma and helping

patients and their families manage it Administering medication Supporting the patient with

everyday tasks including personal care

Specification

Minimum of 6 months MH RN UK (Private

or NHS) hospital/Prison experience within the last 2 years or Completion of a

Return to Practice within the last 2 years

NMC registration

Experience of working within a mental

health hospital setting

Excellent communications skills

Ability to maintain a high standard

of record keeping

Be able to work as an independent

practitioner

Be proficient in the delivery of care

to patients

Undertake regular mandatory training
