Smart Dental Centre in Dundonald, Belfast is looking for a GDC-registered Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse nearing qualification to join our friendly and supportive clinical team.

Our Dundonald practice is a long-established, modern dental centre located on Upper Newtownards Road, with excellent transport links and nearby parking. The practice provides a broad range of treatments, including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, crowns, veneers, bridges, periodontal care and hygiene services, alongside private patient plans.
YOUR ROLE
As a Dental Nurse, you will play an important part in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive a professional, caring and first-class experience.
- Providing effective chairside support to dentists and other clinicians
- Preparing surgeries and equipment for a wide range of treatments
- Supporting clinicians throughout patient appointments
- Maintaining excellent standards of infection prevention, cross-infection control and decontamination
- Supporting the smooth running of the surgery and wider practice
- Providing a friendly and reassuring experience for patients
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring practice procedures are followed
- Supporting the team with day-to-day clinical and patient-care responsibilities
- Continuing to develop your clinical knowledge and dental nursing skills

Previous dental nursing experience is preferred for qualified applicants, but we are also happy to consider Trainee Dental Nurses who are approaching qualification.
