Job description
- Multipurpose facility with 24 hour emergency care, 5 sub-acute beds, 9 residential aged care beds, community nursing, day centre as well as visiting medical specialists and allied health.
- We also oversea a community health clinic on truwana/Cape Barren Island that provides community and emergency care for this remote aboriginal community
- Situated in the beautiful Furneaux Islands in off the North East coast of Tasmania, a place renowned for its untamed beauty, pristine beaches and unrivalled opportunities for outdoor pursuits.

- We work closely together with health and community services on the Furneaux Island and on mainland Tasmania to focus on delivering excellent care and service to the Flinders Island community.
- Lead and mentor nursing and care staff across Flinders and Cape Barren Islands.
- Oversee clinical operations and ensuring compliance with both aged care and hospital quality and safety standards
- Manage staff rosters and resource allocation
- Drive quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice
- Support staff development through coaching and providing professional growth opportunities
