Autonomy in the community | Paediatric & adult complex care | Norfolk | £50,000-£55,000 + 45p mileage
Shape high-quality community complex care services as a Paediatric Clinical Lead, overseeing a manageable caseload of approximately 10 complex care packages across Norfolk. The caseload is a mix of paediatric, young adult and adult packages, including 4 paediatric packages, so the successful candidate must be confident supporting complex healthcare needs across different age groups.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RGN or RSCN with strong community complex care experience who wants greater autonomy, responsibility and clinical leadership while continuing to work closely with individuals and their families in their own homes.
As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical oversight to individuals with complex healthcare needs, working closely with families, case managers, commissioners and multidisciplinary teams. The role combines clinical leadership, assessments, governance, staff competency, package management and service development within an established community complex care provider.
£50,000 to £55,000 per annum
45p per mile mileage allowance

This confidential opportunity is with an established, nurse-led community complex care provider supporting children, young adults and adults with complex healthcare needs within their own homes.
The Norfolk service currently supports approximately 10 complex care packages, including 4 paediatric packages alongside young adult and adult packages. The organisation has an established management and clinical structure and places a strong emphasis on safe, person-centred and clinically robust care.
Provide clinical oversight of approximately 10 paediatric, young adult and adult complex care packages across Norfolk.
Complete clinical assessments, care plans, risk assessments and structured package reviews.
Support the mobilisation and ongoing management of complex community care packages.
Deliver clinical training, supervision and competency sign-off for Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
Work closely with children, adults, families, case managers, commissioners, ICBs and multidisciplinary teams.
Lead on safeguarding, clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement as the Paediatric Clinical Lead.
Ensure packages remain clinically safe, well staffed and compliant with organisational and regulatory standards.
Support service development and the continued growth of the Norfolk operation.
RGN or RSCN with an active NMC PIN
Strong UK community complex care, homecare or complex care nursing experience
Experience supporting paediatric complex care is essential
Comfortable providing clinical oversight across a mixed paediatric, young adult and adult caseload
Recent experience with high-acuity needs such as tracheostomy care, invasive or non-invasive ventilation, enteral feeding, seizure management and other complex interventions
Strong assessment, care planning, clinical governance and competency sign-off experience
Previous Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Complex Care Nurse or Community Nurse experience is highly desirable
Full UK driving licence and comfortable travelling across Norfolk
