Job description
Whinfell Forest | Circa £40,000 per annum pro rata
Provide calm care in the forest
We're looking for an experienced Nurse to join our on-site Occupational Health and First Aid Centre, caring for guests and a workforce of over 1,500 colleagues. You'll deliver proactive occupational health services, ensure regulatory compliance and provide emergency first aid and minor treatment when needed.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct health screenings and fitness-for-work assessments
- Deliver immunisation programmes, health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
- Collaborate with the People team and Occupational Health team to support mental health strategy

Your working hours
- Part-time contract, shifts fall between 8:30am and 5:00pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 80 hours over a 4 - week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes occasional weekend work and bank holidays
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Nurse
- Qualification in AED / BLS / Anaphylaxis use
- Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
- Able to work independently or in a team
- Calm under pressure with excellent communication and decision-making skills
- IT proficient in Microsoft Office and related systems
Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
