Job description
We are assisting our highly regarded Client located in Melbourne's inner west approximately 10km from the CBD, known for its maritime history, hertigae buildings and city skyline views. The hospital is a very reputable facility offering a range of services including emergency, surgical services, renal dialysis, community and Mental health care.
This position is a permanent role for experienced Mental Health Nurses.
- Provide appropriate mental health support ,care, treatment and interventions to patients
- Observe & assess the mental, emotional, physical needs of patients including the identification of "at risk" consumers and record with appropriate and accurate documentation.
- Care plan and discharge planning implementation
- Display nursing skills that will be effective in alleviating patients distress which can manifest in challenging or at risk behavior.

- Current registration with APHRA
- Experience & Post graduate qualification in Mental health desirable
- Sound working Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014
- Police & criminal hisoty check
- Working with Children check if requested
- immunization health clearance prior to employment
