Live in Care Assistant to English Literature University Student

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a university student at the University of Warwick. Our client is looking for a like-minded individual to join his current care team to provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adults life.

Start: Early September 2026

Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (A mixture of days & nights)

Location: Uni of Warwick (CV4 7AL) / Home in Oxford

Pay: £170 per day / £1,190 per week worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift.

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody elses life. Our client is confident in his ability and lives in student accommodation with the support of like-minded individuals to assist him with:

  • Personal Care
  • Health Care
  • Social Support
  • Daily Living
  • Housekeeping / Domestic duties

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

Our client lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is a full-time wheelchair user. He values his independence and works alongside a team of dedicated Personal Assistants who support him in living life on his own terms.

He is a young man with a great sense of humour, who enjoys building positive, professional relationships with his care team. He knows his own needs and will let you know when support is requiredhe isn't looking to be "mothered," but rather someone who respects his independence while being attentive and reliable.

As his Personal Assistant, you will provide support across all aspects of daily living, helping to promote his comfort, independence, and overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while working closely with an engaging and personable individual.
