Live In Care Assistant

What you’ll do

Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, and personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.

We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter.

We are looking for an active kind, caring and empathetic live in carer who can support the client in her home with personal care and activities and also accompany her on her many weekly activities.

The client is an elderly lady with an acquired brain injury, where she uses hand signal and facial expressions to communicate, she can also write or draw sometimes to communicate with her care team.

In terms of clinical aspects you will be providing bowel and bladder care, where full training will be provided.

The family do occasional go abroad on holiday with the client, therefore you will be required to travel with them.
