Female Driver Care Assistant
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey, and surrounding areas
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 30–35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Flexible shifts, including alternate weekends
We are looking for an experienced female Driver Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients across Leatherhead, Great Bookham, Epsom, Ewell, Cobham and surrounding areas.
This role would suit a caring and reliable individual who enjoys supporting people in their own homes and is confident travelling between client locations.
Due to the requirements of the role, candidates must be female, experienced in care, hold a valid driving licence and live locally to the Leatherhead area or surrounding communities.
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support with washing, dressing, mobility and other personal care needs.
- Prepare meals and provide support with nutrition and hydration where required.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with appointments, shopping and other essential outings.
- Drive clients safely where transportation is required.
- Follow individual care plans and support clients according to their specific needs.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the wider care team.
- Promote clients' dignity, independence, privacy and choice.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures.
- Female candidate due to the requirements of the role.
- Previous professional care experience is essential.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Ability and willingness to drive between client locations.
- Ideally living locally in Leatherhead, Great Bookham, Epsom, Ewell, Cobham or nearby areas.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient and respectful approach.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
- Flexible approach to working hours and alternate weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
