Job description
Deputy General Manager (RN)- Care Home
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8US
Hours: 40 hours per week - alternate weekends (2 days supernumerary/ 2 days on shift)
Pay: £54,537 per year
- Support the General Manager and lead the home in their absence
- Oversee care standards through audits, clinical supervision, and compliance checks
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident wellbeing and quality of life
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with mentoring/supervision qualification
- Previous experience as a Clinical Deputy within a Care Home
- Experience supporting residents with varied health needs
- Strong track record in safeguarding, clinical risk assessment, and HR processes
- Knowledge of budget management, sales & marketing
