As a Band 6 Community Nurse / District Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care within the community setting. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination, and delivery of clinical care that meets the needs of patients and the service. You will work autonomously, using your clinical expertise, professional judgement, and evidence-based knowledge. Your role will include supervising and supporting junior staff, support workers, and students, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, service development, and enhancement of patient outcomes, ensuring care aligns with professional standards and best practice.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (Level 1) with current NMC registration. Significant post-registration nursing experience, preferably within community or district nursing, or related healthcare settings. Proven ability to lead, support, and motivate colleagues, manage and coordinate complex caseloads, and mentor or teach others. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
