Active Assistance are expanding our client base, and have a new children's care package in Penarth.

This role is to support our brand new client, an 11 year old girl, in her family home and out in the community. Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, has a VP shunt, and is non-verbal and has behavioural challenges. You will be working alongside another support worker for all shifts (2:1 care).

We require candidates that hold a full UK drivers licence to be able to drive the client's vehicle, to take her out into the community.

Tuesday and Thursday evenings (3pm-7pm) and Saturdays (7hr long day shift) - please note that this is for term time and in school holiday time will change to Tues/Thurs/Sat 12pm-5pm
We will also have sleeping nights (10pm-8am) available

In this role, youll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

Earn up to £13.50 per hour (depending on experience) - youll also receive an additional 14.07% holiday pay on every hour worked
