We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join a friendly and supportive care team within a residential nursing home.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a positive difference in the lives of elderly residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide daily support to residents, promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and wellbeing while working as part of a professional care team.
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
- Assist with safe moving and handling in accordance with individual care plans.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and report any changes in residents' wellbeing.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, privacy, and choice at all times.
- Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
- Follow safeguarding, infection control, health & safety, and care home policies.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
- Compassionate, caring, and patient nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
