Job description
- Role: Care Assistant
- Setting: Domiciliary / Community Care
- Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent
- Shift Pattern: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and/or 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Alternate weekends (two-week rota)
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join a growing domiciliary care team, supporting clients to live safely and independently within their own homes.
This community-based role offers structured shift patterns with grouped visits, providing a more predictable working day while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assist with meal preparation and hydration
- Prompt and support clients with medication
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light household duties where required
- Encourage independence and involvement in care planning
- Accurately record and report daily care visits
- Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
- Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Availability to work alternate weekends
- Compassionate, caring, and professional attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in any of the following is advantageous:
- Care Assistant
- Support Worker
- Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
- NHS or community care
- Residential or domiciliary care
Applicants from customer-facing roles such as retail, hospitality, administration, cleaning, warehousing, delivery driving, and similar backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
