This includes assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and contributing to positive moments and memories. Each day is different, offering work that is both varied and rewarding. Tasks range from supporting residents with meals to following care plans and dedicating one-on-one time with them. Your skills will be put to meaningful use, allowing you to develop your career in a supportive environment. To qualify as a Bank Care Assistant, some experience in caring for older individuals is necessary, along with a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills. Barchester provides all requisite training, ensuring you thrive in your role. This temporary position requires flexibility, with hours varying as needed for coverage such as during annual leave or sick leave.

ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship and sharing great moments and memories too. It's a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that's as varied as it is rewarding. It's an opportunity to put your skills to meaningful use and develop your career.

ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Bank Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. In return we'll provide all the training you need to thrive.

REWARDS PACKAGEAs well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously.

As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
