This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working at a Barchester care home as a Bank Care Assistant. You will assist residents with daily living, providing support and companionship to ensure they receive the quality care they deserve. Every day will be different, and you will engage in activities such as supporting residents with food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring dedicated one-to-one time with residents. You need some experience in caring for older people, a can-do attitude, and excellent communication skills. Empathy and compassion are essential to deliver the highest standard of care. In return, comprehensive training is provided, along with opportunities for learning and development. This role offers true flexibility with varied hours to cover for annual or sick leave. It's an opportunity to use your people skills in an organisation dedicated to providing excellent care.
ABOUT THE ROLEThis is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship and sharing great moments and memories too. It's a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that's as varied as it is rewarding. As a Bank Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time. It's an opportunity to put your skills to meaningful use and develop your career.
ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Bank Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. In return we'll provide all the training you need to thrive.
REWARDS PACKAGEAs well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously.
As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
