Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Bank Support Workerto join our team working at Cygnet Morgan House.

Youll be working bank hours a week, mainly night shifts offered,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Morgan House.

Morgan House is a new residential service, located in Stoke-on-Trent for five people who are ready to live more independently in the community. It will offer a safe, comfortable, homely setting to provide a therapeutic environment that empowers residents to meet personal goals and live fulfilling lives.

We are looking for someone who is

  • Driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
  • Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health
  • An excellent communicator and a good team player
  • Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
  • Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Your day-to-day

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Ass ist with medical & welfare needs
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
  • Safeguard all patients
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
